Rules of Play

Here’s How To Catch That Crown!

1. There will be four runway categories.

2. Each attendee will either walk in a category or be Pit Crew. (Radical Participation)

3. There will be one winner picked from each runway category, as well as a Pit Crew “Top Tool”.

4. There will also be a “Wild Card” competitor chosen as well as the “Matthew B. Palazzolo Award” for Breaking Boundaries.

5. The four category winners, the Matthew B. Palazzolo Award winner, & the previous year’s reigning queen will then lip sync to a track of their own choosing. (You are allowed to prep and bring your own track to perform to.) Six lip syncs in total.

6. The illustrious judges will then consult, and a winner will be crowned “Belle of the Ball”.

Run of Show

Runways will start Promptly at 9pm.

Lip Syncs will occur at 10pm

Crowning to occur at 11pm

Revelry will ensue as we Celebrate “the Belle of the Ball: Reserection”

Tips

1. The winners from each runway category will win a deluxe prize package.

2. Reveals are great, but better to have one stunning look than two mediocre ensembles.

3. Don’t remove your wig… unless you have another wig to reveal.

4. Play to your judges.

5. Don’t try to stomp the runway in a kitten heel … just don’t.

6. Play to your strengths, we love camp as much as we love beauty.

7. Make the Judges laugh.

8. Don’t Fuck It up.
